This years Easter Camp was held within the STANTA Training Ground near Thetford Forest. It consisted of 360 cadets and staff from Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire Wing.
The main accommodation was at 'West Tofts' Army Training Estate, approximately eight miles from the main exercise training area. The camp consisted of multiple activities, lectures and practical Fieldcraft ground training.
All training gained by the cadet flights was put to the test on the eagerly awaited 27-hour exercise, where the teams were put through their paces, reciting all the 'ground training' that was instructed to them over the week.
Navigation was essential as there were calculated 'food drops' and the only way to their rations was accurate map reading skills. There was much to contend with as multiple 'injects' were added to the main mission to add to the realism and operations in the field.
