Alan joined 2492 Sqn after retirement from the RAFVR (T). He finally served as a Squadron Leader and was employed as a Wing Staff Officer (WSO). His primary role is Sqn & Wing Duke of Edinburgh Award (DOEA) Officer including the Millennium Volunteers Award (MV).
Hannah joined 2492 Sqn in June 2005. She was formally a cadet of 2465 (Icknield) Sqn where she had reached the rank of Cadet Sergeant. Her primary role is IC Drill, Dress and Discipline. She also organises the Flying & Gliding programme. Hannah is currently pursuing an Adult Sergeant role within the ATC.
Michael joined 2492 Sqn as a Cadet in July 2001, and left as a Cadet Warrant Officer in August 2006 at the age of 20. His primary role is Sqn Adjutant. Michael is currently pursuing a RAFVR (T) Commission.

Derrick joined 2492 Sqn in May 2005. He currently holds the Basic Expedition Leader Award (BELA) which is necessary for all Adventure Training orientated activities he organises. Derrick works closely with the DOEA Officer on the scheme especially the Expedition section.
Simon joined 2492 Sqn as a cadet in 1989. He continued his cadet service with 2492 Sqn until reaching the rank of Cadet Sergeant. To continue his service, he became a CI and has remained at 2492 Sqn. His present role is Squadron Sports Officer. This is an important role as it incorporates the many varied sports that the ATC offers all the way to Corps representation.
James joined 2492 Sqn in June 2005. He was formally a cadet of 2465 (Icknield) Sqn where he had reached the rank of Cadet Corporal. James is a keen swimmer and therefore has taken on the water-based sports the ATC has to offer.
James is currently pursuing an Adult Sergeant role within the ATC.
